A little about me.
Motherhood changed everything for me in 2014. What began as my own journey into pregnancy, birth, and postpartum opened my eyes to how much support, education, and reassurance families truly need during this transformative time.

After the birth of my first child didn't go quite as I expected and I knew the second time around I had very specific goals. After learning about doula support, I knew that I needed one on my team to achieve the VBAC that I desperately wanted. After the birth of my 2nd child, I began my journey as a postpartum doula and then as a birth doula. Working with families during the postpartum period made me realize that I needed more breastfeeding and lactation education. In 2019 I became a Lactation Educator through UC San Diego and it didn't take long for me to realize that I wanted to be the one to help families with all of their breastfeeding and lactation challenges from start to finish. In 2021 I completed my Lactation Consultant education and clinical training through UC San Diego and sat for and passed the exam to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

As a mom who has exclusively pumped for one child and exclusively breastfed another with a tongue and lip tie that almost derailed our whole journey, I understand... I understand wanting nothing more than to breastfeed your baby but things are just not going they way you thought. I understand the pain and frustration of a baby who can't latch well even though the LC at the hospital says "latch looks great". My journey with a tongue tied baby has made me especially passionate about helping other families navigate through feeding challenges and oral restrictions.

Whether you're preparing for birth, navigating those early newborn days, or working toward your feeding goals, you don't have to do it alone. I'm here to support, educate, and empower you every step of the way.
